Description

Excellent for processing and removing soft materials such as underseal and anti-drumming compound. Most suitable for achieving rough surfaces with a sandblasted appearance due to the specific geometry of the filament material.

Steel wire is the most common filament material. Brushes with steel wire as the filament material are especially well-suited to work on surfaces and deburring. PFERD special wire has high tensile strength and bending fatigue strength. This ensures that the wire wears down in the optimal way, as well as a long tool life, even in extreme brushing applications.

Steel wire withstands temperatures up to 300 Â°C.

Advantages

High cooling effect and no smearing or loading of the brush due to the open construction of the filament material.
Longer tool life as the brush can be resharpened using a sharpening block.
Long tool life through use of PFERD special wire.

Recommendations for use

Please observe the recommended rotational speeds.
Use only on speed-adjustable angle and straight grinders.
Can be resharpened up to 10x. To do so, press the wire tips onto a sharpening block for around 2–3 seconds. Change the running direction to sharpen the tool.
