Registration and login
How do I register?
- To register on our PFERDSHOP for the first time, click Login next to the search bar.
- Select the option Account holder registration to access the registration form.
How to log in to my PFERDSHOP account?
- To log in, click Login next to the search bar.
- Now enter your e-mail address and password on the left-hand side.
- Confirm your entries by clicking “Login” or press “Enter” to enter the PFERDSHOP.
What to do if I forgot my password?
- Click “Login” .
- On the login screen, select “Forgot password” to reset your password.
- You will then receive an e-mail to set a new password .
How many users can register on my account number?
- There is no limit to the number of users registered under a customer account.
- Due to the sensitive nature of the information, it is advised to limit the number of users.
Orders and deliveries
How to see whether an item is currently available?
- Go to the item in question and select the “Check availability” function.
- Information regarding product availability and dispatch will be shown.
- Product availability is also shown in the shopping basket.
How do I reorder an item?
- In the “My Account” area, go to “Shop Orders” .
- Select the relevant order and select the shopping trolley icon.
- • The entire order will now be added directly to your shopping basket, where necessary amendments can be made.
Why is the product I’m searching for not being displayed?
- Try Searching the item via the Quick order function.
- If the item you are looking for is still not found, please contact our Customer service team.
Where do I check the status of my order?
- You can view the status of your order in the “My Account” area by selecting the relevant order under “All Orders”.
- Deliveries are managed internally by Pferd-South Africa; therefore delivery information can be obtained by contacting customer service.
How to order a custom-made product?
- All custom-made items can be ordered via the Quick order function using the unique material or EAN number.
- For additional information on custom made items, please contact customer service.
Can I access my order confirmation/invoice again?
- Yes, you can do this. Please go to “My Account” .
- You can download all the documents relating to your order from there.
How do I change or cancel my order?
- Once your order has been confirmed, any required changes should be discussed with customer services.
How to order spare parts?
- In our online spare parts cataloguewe have compiled all the information about every PFERD drive.
- The required spare parts can be selected and ordered immediately via the PFERDSHOP.
How do I request a quotation?
- At the end of the checkout process you have the option to request quotations for the items in your shopping basket.
- You can view and accept your quotations in the “My Account” area.
My item has been on back order for longer than was stated on the order confirmation. Where do I find additional information?
- Order and delivery status can be viewed under “My Accounts” section.
- Further information can be obtained by contacting customer services.
Where will I see my customer-specific prices?
- After logging in your “customer specific” prices will be displayed on the relevant product page.
- Total order value will be displayed upon checkout.
I have registered but my individual prices are not showing. Why is this?
- Customer specific prices will be displayed the day following registration the same will apply for any price amendments.
- Order can already be placed immediately after receiving confirmation of registration.
Payments
How do I pay for my order?
- Payments are made in accordance with agreed to payment and credit facility terms.
- Contact customer service for additional information.
How do I redeem a voucher code?
- Voucher code can be redeemed in the shopping basket upon final checkout.
- Code to be entered in the “Voucher Code” field.
What to do if my voucher code does not work?
- Please check whether your discount code is valid and whether all the terms and conditions for obtaining the discount have been met.
- If this is the case and the discount is not being applied to your order, please contact Customer Services.
Services and features
Can I order products using my own individual customer material number?
- Yes. You can use your customer material number to order products using the Quick Order function or directly in the shopping basket.
- Please note that your number must be linked to our material numbers in our ERP system beforehand.
- Please contact Customer Services to assist.
I would like a consultation. Who can I speak to?
- Our in-house sales representatives and field employees will be pleased to assist.
- Please complete the contact us form online alternatively please contact customer services to arrange the appointment.
Can I use an Excel document to place an order?
- Yes,
simply use the
“Quick Order”
function.
The “Quick Order” function offers you several individual ordering methods:- Order by copying and pasting.
- Order using the item number, EAN or your own customer material number.
- Order via a CSV upload.
- Excel file can also be uploaded under “Quick Order”.
- Please make sure that your Excel File contains both the item numbers and the required quantities .

Can I scan the EAN code on my PFERD product in order to obtain further information?
- Scan the EAN code on the PFERD product with your mobile device to quickly and easily obtain further information about the product.
- To ensure we always provide the best possible user experience, we regularly optimize the additional features in the PFERDSHOP for the various operating systems.
- If, however, no results are shown after scanning the product, you can also search for the relevant item directly using the EAN number.
How to find the best tool for my circumstances?
- Our product finder guides you to the best tool for you in just a few steps.
- You can use the detailed filter to quickly and easily select our products based on the application, material you will be working on, technical properties and matching drive types.
How can I calculate fits and tolerances?
- Here you can calculate fits and tolerances for shafts and holes based on standard tolerances and limit deviations in accordance with ISO 286.
- The calculator has been tested, but no guarantee can be given for the accuracy of the results.
How can I calculate the ideal rotational speed?
- Calculate the ideal rotational speed , tool diameter or cutting speed using our rotational speed calculator.
