Description

Due to their hardness and flexibility, felt points are used when the exact form of geometric shapes has to be maintained.

The conical pointed shape SPK is mainly used for work on radii and contours.

Advantages
  • Can be profiled as desired, meaning they can also be used for tools with complex geometries.
  • Precise retention of geometric shapes due to the hardness of these tools.
Recommendations for use
  • For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 5-10 m/s. This provides an ideal compromise between stock removal rate, surface quality, thermal load on the workpiece and tool wear.
  • Use diamond polishing pastes and polishing paste bars.
  • When applying a different polishing paste, use a new unused polishing tool.
Safety notes
  • For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.
